Gibson Through The Lens

With 60 pieces, the Gibson Through The Lens Exhibition is an amazing collection of guitarists and their Gibsons. The rock gods featured include Hendrix, Page, Richards, Marley, Dylan, Slash along with some artists that still benefit from a first name. Jack White and Dave Grohl are also featured with amazing pics.

The easier some of these guys make it look, the more we tend to forget the mountain of time and passion it takes to master the craft. This show, shines a light on this fact. Even with the pedigree of artists featured, it’s not about celebrity. It’s about artist and axe expressed through epic photography. Curated by Dave Bolan, the work comes from a rock photographer a-list including Neal Preston, Mick Rock and Baron Wolman. That’s Wolman’s photo of Hendrix with a Flying V.
