Record Store Day Collectibles available on Black Friday

While the name suggests a single day, the peeps at Record Store Day aren’t going to let a silly thing like grammar get in the way of celebrating vinyl twice a year. So tomorrow you can pick up collectibles on wax from artists including the Bleachers, Afghan Wigs, Chvrches, Decemberists, Little Richard and the Ramones.

For the past couple of years Record Store Day has hitched their wagon to the insane cosumer bing which has become Black Friday. The way they put it on their site is that they are capitalizing on the spending fevor to put a few of those dollar bills into the pockets of indie record stores. And to this we say AWESOME.

In a world where listening habits seem to be constantly morphing, it’s cool to see artists and music lovers celebrating the art form that is the album.
