The who’s who of Who rarities.

The Who are a legacy band with a box set of history behind them. Throughout the years, and today, guitarist, songwriter, founding member Pete Townshend has always been good for an interesting quote. “Rock ‘n’ Roll might not solve your problems, but it does let you dance all over them”, Pete Townshend. Or his recent announcement in Uncut magazine, “I don’t find The Who’s shows fulfilling, but I’m brilliant at them.” A little reminder that Noel Gallagher doesn’t have a monopoly on cocky.

Townshend’s remarks are what make The Who Jukebox so interesting.  The band put the call out to fans to list some of their favourite lesser known tracks. The most popular of the rarities comprise the jukebox complete with comments from Townshend on where they came from. Who nerd heaven.

The Who will be finishing up the first North American leg of their Who Hits 50 Tour on May 30th. The band will be heading to Europe in June where among other dates they will be headlining Glastonbury.
