Old rides make sick sound
Cliché Off The Wall Skate Guitar
You gotta love the inventiveness of some people. What was it that made two Argentinians look at a skateboard and think, ‘That would make a good guitar.’
The Skate Guitar is made of two recycled maple skateboards. While we’ve never played one and can’t attest to the sound, we’ve gotta say they look amazing. The brainchild of Ezequill Galasso and Gianfranco Gilmore, who we can only assume are serious dudes, are the …dudes behind Skate Guitar. A Luthier, Galasso, and a Pro Skater, Gilmore, combined the two things that they loved most. Part of us wishes that they come up the idea while they were both rushing around, one with a guitar and one with a skateboard, and BAM! They ran into each other creating the world’s first Skate Guitar. High unlikely we know, because like dudes don’t rush.
Featured is the Cliché Off The Wall. A Cliché Deck help make up the body complemented with a bolt on neck with a 12 inch radius. Check out the entire series of these artisanal beauties at skateguitar.com
