Queen fanatics get paid.
Queen: Play the Game App
In 1980 Queen released their 8th studio album The Game. It was the only album of the British band to reach number 1 in the US. The number one status owes thanks to two hits, the rockabilly vibe of Crazy Little Thing Called Love and the often sampled Another One Bites the Dust. Upon it’s release, christian evangelists accused the song of back masking, claiming that when the chorus was played backwards you heard, ‘It’s fun to smoke marijuana.’ FYI christian evangelists, any Bob Marley song will tell you the same played in forward. But when you play a Marley song backwards you can her him giggling because he is so stoned.
These little nuggets of Queen lore will finally come in handy with the release of the new Queen app: Play the Game. Billed as a truly unique Queen experience, the app allows you to test your Queen knowledge through puzzles to unlock official artwork and win band merch. So the more you know about Queen, the more you get paid.
It’s not a day a the races, but it’ll kill a classic rocker’s afternoon.
