PLAYER Musician’s Music Player App

This is an amazing app that’s going to change the lives of a lot of guitar player’s. It also works for piano and ukulele, so Eddie Vedder will be happy as well. Although Eddie probably has a pretty good ear. For those of us who can’t listen to a song and pick off the notes, the Jamn Player app gives you the keys and chords of any song in your i-tunes library. It plays the song and give you the chords similar to any tabulator. It’ll also show you the notes in a more classic formation. At the moment it is largely fundamental  without any indication of drop tunings, strumming, hammer ons, etc. But this is just V1. All in all it’s pretty amazing and should radically facilitate any musicians approach to learning new tunes. And it’s free.
