With Coachella 2015 about to plug in, we thought we’d look back and up to EMEK’s Astronaut gig poster from last year. We can’t do it justice here, but the piece glows in the dark. But then again, glow is not enough to describe EMEK’s work which more accurately transforms in the dark. Much like Coachella itself.

EMEK is one of the best poster artists of the last 20, dubbed the thinking person’s poster artist, we think he’s way cooler than that. Influenced by rock poster artist of the 60s, EMEK is old school in the sense that his images tell the story of the music but also of the moment. What becomes very apparent when looking at EMEK’s portfolio is that he loves music. All kinds of music, which makes him the perfect guy to tackle the Coachella bill.

The Coachella Astronaut recently took second place at the 26th Annual Pollstar Awards Contest. We let you know as soon as anything drops for this years event. In the meantime visit emek.net, your eyeballs will love you for it.
