A beater to give ’em hell
Tim Armstrong Hellcat Acoustic
One of the great things about the Rancid sound is you can hear that the songs were written on an acoustic. Even after they’ve been amped up, they never get so slick that you can’t imagine Tim working out a chorus on his 6-string, fingers scratching across the fret board.
This kickass acoustic is based on Tim Armstrong’s 1960’s Fender acoustic, which is a beautifully beat up guitar. The Tim Armstrong Hellcat comes polished, but it’s ready to be kicked around. Fender has priced it right so it doesn’t have to be treated to preciously. The Hellcat also comes with pearl Hellcat logos on the third, fifth and seventh frets and a pair of skulls on the twelfth fret. And if you like your rebellion loud, there’s a preamp to plug yourself in.
