Limited Edition American Standard Blackout Stratocaster

Now there’s nothing revolutionary about a black Startocaster, but the Limited Edition American Standard Blackout Stratocaster takes things to the extreme with a black pickguard, black control knobs, black pickup covers and an ebony fingerboard. The black fingerboard is standout badass, but why Fender didn’t go all in and make the headstock black is a mystery.

How do you know if Blackout Strat is for you? Well, you don’t wear black to look thin, you wear black to look badass. Black Ts. Black jeans. Black suits. Black ties. Basically your closet is darker than a Quentin Tarantino comedy. To mix it up sometimes you’ll throw in a charcoal t-shirt. Not that this is any reflection on your disposition. It’s just as bright as the glimmer on your black Doc Martins. Basically you are Darth Vader.

Disclaimer: To dig the Fender Blackout Stratocaster you don’t actually have to be Darth Vader or have an all black wardrobe, but it does help to be open to both.
