You’ll find Acoustics, Les Pauls and this SG Special. SGs were originally created by Gibson back in 1961. They took the original Les Paul design and created a lighter, double-cutaway. Like many offerings from the Gibson stable, the SG is one of the most recognizable designs in rock ‘n’ roll.  The metal gang love them. Epiphone’s SG special is not a Gibson, but the price justifies any short comings. The site has it as the most affordable SG on the market. If you know Epiphone, you’ll know what you’re getting.
